PLOT
The dead body of Rita Köhler, a talented 16-year-old pianist is found carefully draped in the side wing of a concert hall. Her body was apparently embalmed. Could it be a case of suicide with assistance? But then a similarly preserved body of an old man is found - Karl Hahnemann, born in 1923. What did Rita and Hahnemann have in common? Both had talent: Rita with music, Hahnemann was an exceptionally gifted chess player. A third victim makes it inevitably clear to the investigators that they are dealing with a serial murderer: When the highly talented seven year old Björn disappears, Borowski, his colleague Alim Zainalow, and the police psychologist Frieda Jung desperately need to decode the pattern in order to track down the perpetrator.
